Camp Somatic (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a program of Social Grinder Ltd. We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, express interest in our trips, or become a paying participant.

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you sign up for updates, join a waitlist, submit an interest form, make a payment, complete a waiver, or fill out a trip intake form. This may include:

3. Minor Children’s Information

Because Camp Somatic organizes family trips, we collect limited information about minor children, including first and last name and age, solely for trip planning, safety, and waiver documentation purposes.

We do not collect personal information directly from children under 13. All information about minor participants is provided by a parent or legal guardian. We do not use minor children’s information for marketing purposes.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child without appropriate parental consent, please contact us at hi@campsomatic.com and we will promptly delete it.

4. Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your full credit card or bank account information. Your payment data is governed by the privacy policy and security practices of our payment processor.

We retain records of payment amounts, dates, and confirmation identifiers for accounting and reservation management purposes.

5. Text Message (SMS) Communications

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, we may send you trip updates, payment reminders, and logistical information via SMS. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us at hi@campsomatic.com.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Trip venues and vendors: We may share limited participant information — such as names, group size, and relevant health or safety information — with the campground, lodging venue, or activity vendors involved in your trip, solely for the purpose of trip operations and safety.

7. Photography & Media

Camp Somatic may photograph or video participants during trips for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. Participants consent to this use by participating in a Camp Somatic trip, as described more fully in our Participation Agreement & Waiver.

Participants who wish to opt out may do so by indicating their preference on the trip intake form or by notifying us in writing at hi@campsomatic.com before the trip. We will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests. We do not use images of minor children for marketing purposes without parental consent.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve site functionality, analyze traffic, and enhance your experience. You may manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of our website.

Waiver and participation agreement records are retained indefinitely as legal documentation.
